2011 GOV Mare Performance Test and Mare Inspection
We had a very successful Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society (GOV) Mare Performance Test here at Rolling Stone Farm on Saturday Sept. 10th. We tested and inspected 10 three year old mares, all bred and owned by me. We now have three more Special Premium Candidate mares and two more Verbands Premium mares. Two of the highest scoring mares were Hanoverian, and so were ineligible for premiums. We will be doing the Hanoverian mare performance test with them in November.

A new stallion addition to Rolling Stone Farm
A 2 1/2 year old licensed Oldenburg stallion will join our farm soon. He is a Sir Donnerhall/ Feiner Stern/ Pik Bube/ Weltmeister tall, leggy beauty. We have named him Sir James, to celebrate Jim's involvement in the farm since his retirement from corporate life (and because I made him sign the auction bid form...)

EMC Hhot Tamale
sire  Hotline      dam  EM Chee Chee
Owned by:
I have decided to sell Hhot Tamale, since her mother is still young and still in production as a broodmare at RSF. Hhot Tamale was used as a demonstration horse at the Hassler Dressage 2011 Young Dressage Horse Trainers Symposium with Steffan Peters. Steffan loved her and made many highly complimentary comments about her really good gaits, rideability and balance for a three year old. In 2012, Molly was shown in the spring where she won materiale classes with scores up to 80.2%, FEI 4 year old tests with scores up to 8.08, and training level tests with scores up to 77.6%. Here are two recent videos taken at a Gary Rockwell clinic at Turning Point Farm on 3-15-13: She is really starting to learn to carry herself with those enormous pure gaits of hers:  read more Read More...

Special Premium Candidate Rhaisonette
 sire  Rosentanz      dam  Fhlora
Owned by:
Rhaisonette is now offered for sale, since I have her full sister, Special Premium Mare Rhosemary in my broodmare band. They are both out of one of my best mares, Fhlora, by Fuerst Heinrich who is a half sister to the 2011 Bundeschampionate winner, Callaho's Benicio. Rhaisonette was shown in 2012 with very good results with scores up to 78% in Materiale classes and scores up to 72% in training level. The scores were all over the place in the USEF 4 year old classes. I will not support this program. The judging was really inconsistant. Rhaisonette is a top quality mare for sport or breeding with world class bloodlines. Here is a recent video fron 2-4-13 taken at a lesson with Scott Hassler:  read more Read More...

Dheputy
 sire  Dauphin      dam  EM Rhussia
Owned by:   Rolling Stone Farm
Dheputy was licensed for breeding by the GOV on July 23, 2012, along with another homebred colt, Shotgun. I am a very proud breeder! These two are the 5th and 6th licensed stallions that we have presented and the 3rd and 4th homebred stallions to be licensed. Dheputy had only been back from the outside breaker for only a month. We had only time to free jump him three times before the licensing (nerve-wracking....). What a good boy he was! We will breed him to a few select mares next season, and send him to the 70 day stallion test in 2013 as a four year old. Here is a recent video from 2-17-13, Cara riding:  read more Read More...
