Named Co-Reserve Top Filly at the RSF Inspection

Giadonna surprised us and snuck her baby in a little early while in out in the pasture. An absolutely beautiful chestnut filly with STUNNING movement. We are elated! Full sibling to Whitecap who was the top colt at our inspection last year.

Widmark won the bronze medal at the 2001 German Riding Horse Championships and was the 2003 USDF Horse of the Year at First Level. He is winning at the horse shows this year at second level. Giadonna had a very good Mare Performance test score of 7.61.

SOLD! Congratulations to Jenn Pass, Coplay PA!

Inspection Comments

Heidi was inspected at our AHS inspection on August 4, 2009. She was placed in the main mare book and is now elite eligible with a score of 7.0. Here's what her proud owner wrote to me: Hi Mo, Thanks for hosting another well run inspection! I've attached a picture of Heidi from yesterday. I was so thrilled with how well behaved she was, especially standing quietly in the trailer for 2 1/2 hours. I was also thrilled with all the 8's she received. They seemed to like her a lot. My favorite comments were on her Typiness/Femininity: "You got an 8 young lady because you're very pretty" and Overall Impression: " She walks in, you look at her and you say my, that's a nice mare!" I even got a nice comment on my braids! That made me feel pretty good and was the icing on the cake for me. When things get less crazy for you, I need to come over for a lesson. I'll give you a call to try to arrange a date/time. Jenny

Owner Comments

Hi Mo,
Heidi had a good year this year. Our lessons with Cara have really helped to get us on track for third level. We can do everything required, just need to work on basics to make everything better. We even had some fun at the Region 1 Adult Team Championships in early Nov hosted by PVDA. Attached is a pic of the beautiful horse you bred taken at the PVDA show!

Hope you had a great time in Germany. See you soon.

April 2015 Hi Mo,
Congratulations on the very successful year for your Breeding program! That’s very exciting.

Heidi and I had a very successful year too and I wanted to share it with you. In 2014 Heidi received her last First Level Score to receive her USDF First Level Horse Performance Award. Other than that, we showed Second Level all year receiving scores above 60%. We won the Second Level Championship class at the LVDA Championship show and were also 2014 LVDA Year End Champion at Second Level. I also earned scores to achieve my LVDA Silver Medal and the USDF Second Level Rider Performance Award. I qualified for and went to BLMs and even though we didn’t place in my extremely large class, we had respectable scores and came away with ribbons in my other classes against some very good horses and riders. I did all that in spite of getting progressively sicker throughout the year.

I’m so happy that we all had stellar years last year. Here’s to 2015. Let’s hope it’s a happy, healthy, successful one!

PS. I’ve attached two of my favorite pics from this year. They’re my favorites because they capture moments of how happy I was!

See you soon!
Jenny

Hi Mo !

Congratulations on Shakespeare’s and Fhitzgerald’s successes in 2010. What a great year they had!! You and Jim must be so proud.

I have good news too. My little Heidi had a great first year at schooling shows this year. She was so well behaved and receive some pretty good scores and comments on her lovely gaits. She finished the year as LVDA First Level Test 1 Champion with an average score of 65.8. I’m very proud of her.

I hope you and Jim are doing well. It’s been quite a busy year for you. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and get to spend some time with the kids and grandkids.

Take Care,
Jenny
Hi Mo,
Chris took some pictures and video of Heidi today. Here are some pictures of her being very good. I know I still have position issues, but I will be working on them now that I'll be riding more consistently. Hopefully I will be able to come over for lessons this summer. I'm taking things slowly to get my confidence back and trailering is further down on my priority list!

Hope to see you soon!

Hi everyone,
Here are some pictures from my first ride on Heidi. If you can see, I'm all smiles!!

She was really good. She's been under saddle for 3 weeks and steers pretty well now. She has a lovely walk and even though her canter is a little unbalanced, it shows signs of being really good too. I Love her nice relaxed free walk and think it's really cool that I don't have to touch her mouth to make her halt. I just say "and whoa" and she stops!

I have some video clips too, but I'm not sure if I can send them via email.

Jenn
Hi Mo,

I just had to tell you how superbly wonderful Heidi was last night. She walked, trotted and whoa'ed quietly on the lunge line in both directions. Only once did she turn in and once didn't pick up the trot for at least one time around the circle, but that's all baby stuff. Other than that she lunged like a trained horse! She responded to my voice on downward transitions so I didn't even need any action on the bit. I was so proud of her and she was so good that I didn't work her for long at all.

Now, I'm not going to be able to get to the barn tonight or Wednesday so I hope she's still good when you come on Thursday!

Sandy gave me a brief synopsis of what went down this weekend. I'm so excited for her she had a wonderful weekend and she was so nervous about it. Congrats are in order for you too. She said Lassie and Mala were 1 and 2 in the MPT. And all the Gold Luck mares did very well overall. Awesome!

I really wanted a Gold Luck foal, but I'm extremely happy with my Gold Luck grand daughter! She has developed quite the personality and everyone at the barn just loffs her. Overall she's so good, sometimes I forget she's 2 1/2!

Jenn

We took some pictures of Heidi yesterday. Some a kinda grainy because of the lighting in the indoor. She looks so grown up in her bridle! When is the front end going to catch up?

Jenn

Hi Mo,

Heidi will be 2 tomorrow. I went to see her last night and Sandy was playing with her new camera. (Which takes awesome pictures by the way). Here are a few she took.
