Special Premium Candidate Shavannah  2013 Oldenburg Mare
sire  Sir James      dam  EM Rheceptionist
Owned by:

We liked Shavannah right from the start of her under saddle career here at Rolling Stone Farm, and our fondness for her continues after she showed very well at her Mare Performance Test and where she received good scores in her mare inspection. She placed 4th overall in a very high quality group of mares. Her scores include 8.0 for free trot, breed and sex type, trot in hand, general impression and development, and 7.5 for walk in hand, free canter, trot under saddle and canter under saddle. We took her off site to a riding clinic on March 10, 2017. It was her first time trailering and her first time off site. She was a pro- loaded well, stood on the trailer while the other horse we took was ridden, and she was super well behaved in the strange riding ring! Here's a few segments from the lesson (too long for a YouTube video to show the whole lesson):

Fhraser  2013 Oldenburg Gelding
sire  Fuerst Romancier      dam  Elite Stute Shirlene
Owned by:

Fhraser is a very special, uncomplicated, tall gelding that we think will go far as a dressage horse (perhaps hunter???). He tries very hard to please his rider and he makes progress in every ride because of this. Amateur friendly, with an uncomplicated demeanor.

Sheneca  2013 Oldenburg Gelding
sire  Sir James      dam  EM Dhewpoint
Owned by:

Sheneca was among the last of his age group to be broke to saddle and he is doing super. He is quiet, and cooperative to the best of his abilities at present. He is on a steep learning curve and is getting stronger every day. Here he is just 30 days under saddle:

Shcrabble  2012 Oldenburg Gelding
sire  Sir James      dam  EM Alectra
Owned by:

I love it when my gut feelings come true about a horse when they are put under saddle. Shcrabble is a solid citizen with a super, volunteer attitude and an easy-going outlook on life. He has three good gaits and is super rideable. New video March 2017 after recovering from a hoof injury. 100% sound and back in work, but not in condition yet. Still a very good boy- amateur friendly, requiring no lunging:

Shakespeare RSF  2004 Hanoverian Stallion
sire  Sandro Hit      dam  EM Acapella
Owned by:   Rolling Stone Farm

In 2016, Shakespeare RSF was the USDF Reserve Champion Horse of the Year for Intermediare II with a score of 74.145% and the Champion American Hanoverian Society (AHS) horse at Intermediare II in the USDF All Breeds Award. He was named the AHS FEI Champion horse. His dressage talent was apparent early on. He was the clear Champion of his 70-Day Stallion Performance Test (2009, Okla.). He achieved Class I status with a score of 130.53 points overall (this score reflects a five percent deduction for being over four years old). He placed 5th for jumping with a final score of 105.31. Scores included 9.5 character, 9 temperament, 9.5 trainability, 8.5 trot, 9 canter (8.5 under saddle and 9.5 cross
country), 8 walk, 9.5 rideability, 8 free jumping, 8 stadium jumping, 8.5 cross country jumping, and 9.25 rideability. In 2014, Shakespeare competed successfully in Prix St. Georges and Inter. I, with scores up to 73.9%. He was chosen to represent Germany at the Nations Cup in Wellington, Fla. He was 5th for 2014 USDF Horse of the Year for Intermediate I with a median score of 71.623%. Shakespeare campaigned in 2015 at PSG and Inter. I, receiving scores as high as 82%. He was sixth at Int. 1 and 3rd in the Int. 1 Freestyle at the 2015 USDF National Championships. His sire, Sandro Hit, needs no introduction.
His dam, EM Acapella, produced two Champions at Dressage at Devon (DAD). Since 2009, Shakespeare has had 56 GOV foals (45 Premium, 15 Foals of Distinction). A young stallion, he has already sired three stallions licensed by the GOV- Shotgun in 2012, Shavane in 2014 and Shortstop in 2015. He is the sire of 8 Special Premium Mares and one Verbands Premium mare. He was the sire of the 2014 Young Prospect Champion at DAD and multiple Champions and Grand Champions in dressage breed shows, including Shopper, GOV USDF All Breeds Champion for 3 year old Colts and Geldings with an 80% and third nationally at that level. In 2015 and 2016, Shavane, Shortstop, Shabrina and Shtiletto were multiple breed show Grand Champions. Shcooter was Filly Champion and Reserve Champion Young Horse at 2015 Dressage At Devon, Also at Dressage at Devon 2015, Shabrina was 2nd 4-year-old Maiden Mares, 3rd Mare Championship and Shtiletto was 3rd Mare Materiale. In 2015, Shakespeare RSF was the sire of the grand Champion of the East Coast Hunter Breeding Futurity. In 2016, Shavane was Region 8 Stallion Champion and GAIG/USDF Stallion Champion at the NEDA Fall Festival in Saugerties. He also won the Stallion Materiale class at DAD 2016 and was Born in the USA winner. Special Premium Candidate Shabrina was 3rd in the USDF year-end awards for Four Year Old and Older Maiden and Yeld Mares with an 80.150%, and Champion in the USDF All Breeds Awards for GOV. Shakespeare RSF is the 2015 and 2016 USEF Sire of the Year for Dressage Breeding. He also sired the 2016 East Coast Future Event Grand Champion with 86.988%. Shakespeare’s foals are strongly stamped by their sire, displaying
elegant exteriors, correct conformation, willing temperaments and beautiful gaits. Shakespeare RSF is schooling all of the Grand Prix, and he will show at that level in 2017 after recovering from a mild tendon injury.

Special Premium Candidate Shabrina  2010 Oldenburg Mare
sire  Shakespeare RSF      dam  EM Wyneth L
Owned by:

This is an FEI horse in training. The changes are coming along, as are all of the lateral movements. She is sensitive and requires a tactful ride, so she is not for an untrained rider, but we feel she will have the high collection of passage and piaffe and we feel she will perform brilliantly to the top levels with a skilled rider. In 2016, she ended up in 3rd place for the USDF Year End standings for Four Year Old and Older Maiden and Yeld Mares with 80.150%. She was Champion in that division for GOV USDF All Breeds Awards. Her breed show results included: Maplewood Warmbloods I- Mare Champion (85.45%0, Mature Horse Champion, Reserve Grand Champion. Maplewood Warmbloods II- Mare Champion (80.15%), Mature Horse Champion. Region 8 GAIG/USDF mare Championship- third. New video- Feb 2017:

Special Premium Candidate Shtiletto  2011 Oldenburg Mare
sire  Shakespeare RSF      dam  EM Fhrance
Owned by:

Shtiletto is a SUPER horse and I'm a very proud breeder. Her full sister was ranked 3rd in the nation with a score of 8+ for the FEI 6 year olds in 2016 and recently sold doing all of the PSG work. At just 5 years old, Shtiletto had a successful dressage record and a successful breed show record. Shtiletto has been multiple times breed show
champion, and she was Champion Young Horse Prospect at Dressage at
Devon 2014, winning her Material class with an 80%. Shtiletto
has been shown in dressage with many wins and successes. In
January 2016, she received a 69.242% at 2nd level test 1 at a
schooling show. She was shown in 1st level tests 2 & 3 at the
wind blown, chilly VADA/NOVA Spring 2016 where she received
scores up to 70.469%. At Windy Hollow Hunt June 2016 in NJ,
she received 70.882 and 71. 324 in First 3, 70.469 at First 2 and
71.818 at Second 1. She is now learning flying changes and they are coming along fine.

Shuez is going to be tall, and she has an easy relaxed way of going suitable for dressage or hunter. She successfully completed the Mare Performance Test and was placed in the main mare book of the GOV. She also has valuable bloodlines for breeding. New video 2-14-17:

Dhelta  2013 Oldenburg Mare
sire  Treliver Decanter      dam  Delwen Dara
Owned by:

Dhelta is very good to ride. She doesn't require lunging and she's only been under saddle a short while. Her pedigree suggests dressage (but look at what a good jumper she is!) and her rideability suggests that she is appropriate for the amateur rider.

Shambezi  2013 Oldenburg Gelding
 sire  Sunlight xx      dam  Bhon-Bon

We nicknamed Shambezi "Easy-Bezi" from the day he was born and the name still applies. He is tall and will get taller as he matures. He is very cooperative both on the ground and now under saddle, where he displays a volunteer attitude with three good gaits. An amateur rider should snatch him up and develop him up the levels. I'm sure he will be an easy project and I'm sure he will go far!

Shavane  2011 Oldenburg Stallion
sire  Shakespeare RSF      dam  EM Rheporter
Owned by:

Shavane was licensed by the German Oldenburg Verband in 2014 with very high scores (8 breed and sex type, impulsion and elasticity in the trot, general impression and development, canter and saddle position). He then went to the 2015 70 day stallion test in Oklahoma. He would have placed third overall (117.64), 2nd in dressage (127.05) and 5th in jumping (104.19), had he not been severely injured (read- hairline fracture of the LF cannon bone) just a few days before the stadium jumping final days. His scores up to that time included 9.5 temperament, trainability, and rideability, 9.0 character, trot, and gallop cross country, 8.5 canter, walk, and free jumping. He has since recovered completely and has gone on to a very successful show career. He was named the 2016 Region 8 GAIG/USDF Stallion Champion and was also the Reserve Champion Mature Horse at Saugerties. He was placed third in the Region 8 Training level Championships with a 69.659%- this was his second horse show under saddle ever! He then went to Dressage at Devon the following week where he was the Reserve Champion Stallion and where he won the Stallion Materiale. He is 2016 USDF Horse of the Year Third Place for Stallions 2nd in the GOV All Breeds Award.

Shortstop was licensed by the German Oldenburg Verband (GOV) in August 2015 after a successful show season in hand. He successfully completed the 70 day stallion test on Oklahoma in autumn of 2015, bringing him fully licensed and approved stallion status from the German Oldenburg Verband (GOV). He is eligible to be presented to many other breed registries (Oldenburg -ISR, RPSI, SBS, Holsteiner, Trakehner). He is sadly offered for sale.

Sharades  2012 Oldenburg Mare
sire  Sir James      dam  EM Rheceptionist

Sharades is super under saddle. She completed the GOV mare performance as a very green three year old and she was placed in the Main Stud Book. She received an 8.5 for the free trot and good scores for everything else. She is a volunteer under saddle and has a good balance naturally with a very active hindquarter. She is a cribber but does not crib with a collar on, so her is price reflects this. New video Feb 21, 2017:

Shakespeare RSF and Marcus schooling the Grand Prix movements   Hanoverian Stallion

I am so proud to say that I own and bred this wonderful stallion- Shakespeare RSF ridden and trained so well by Marcus Orlob, who is making Jim's and my dreams come true. Marcus has been riding Shakespeare for only a few years and I wonder what could have been accomplished earlier had he ridden him from the beginning. Shakespeare has been a wonderful producer for Rolling Stone Farm with 42 Premium GOV foals, 15 Foals of Distinction, 3 licensed stallion sons and a hunter futurity winner, with many champions in hand and under saddle. He is the 2015 USEF Dressage Breeding sire of the Year.

She has now produced a licensed stallion (by Quaterback), sold at the 2012 Hanoverian stallion licensing to Spain. Her colt San Gennaro, by San Remo is still a stallion and is competing successfully at the FEI levels in dressage in Germany. He was placed third in the 2015 Nurnberger Pokal competition in Maimarkt-Turnier with a 70.537%

Well, you snooze, you lose. I have taken Molly off the sales list. Cara will be using her as her personal show horse from now on. Fhitzgerald has become our teaser stallion since Gold Luck passed away, and that it makes it very difficult to show him during breeding season. We need him here on the farm. Cara is one dynamite employee, and we want to keep her happy. That happiness will include having Molly to show without worrying about her being sold. So far in 2013, at the VADA/Nova spring recognized show at Morven Park April 6 & 7, they have done well. The first day of the show was a good result at first level, Molly's first time at this level. But then on the second day, Cara and Molly kicked butt! 1st place and 70.811% at first level test 2 and then 1st place with a 73.065% at first level test 3. That score won them the high score first level ribbon as well as the show high score ribbon!

Dheputy  2009 Oldenburg Stallion
 sire  Dauphin      dam  EM Rhussia
Owned by:   Rolling Stone Farm

Dheputy was licensed for breeding by the GOV on July 23, 2012, along with another homebred colt, Shotgun. I am a very proud breeder! These two are the 5th and 6th licensed stallions that we have presented and the 3rd and 4th homebred stallions to be licensed. Dheputy had only been back from the outside breaker for only a month. We had only time to free jump him three times before the licensing (nerve-wracking....). What a good boy he was! We will breed him to a few select mares next season, and send him to the 70 day stallion test in 2013 as a four year old. Here is a recent video from 2-17-13, Cara riding:
