Awards
For the second time, a stallion we bred is licensed by the American Hanoverian Society
A second homebred colt is licensed by the AHS (Shakespeare RSF was the first). If I count getting Fhitzgerald licensed, we have produced three licensed stallions! Somer Hit then goes to Lamplight Equestrian in IL a few weeks later for the National Young Dressage Horse Championships where he places 4th and is the second Rolling Stone Farm homebred to place in the top 4 at this event.

Around the Farm
New photos of Shakespeare taken at RSF
I talked John into riding Shakespeare so I could get some new photos of him under saddle. (I was a little disappointed in the under saddle photos from the 70 day day test). The stallions' pages don't have enough room to add a lot more photos, so I put them here. What do you think?

Shakespeare RSF wins the 70 Day Test and Fhitzgerald places fifth!
The 70 day test was held in Broken Arrow, OK at Silver Creek Farm. The final days were held on December 10-12, 2009. Shakespeare RSF was the overall winner with a score of 130.29. He also won the Dressage portion with an index of 136.01. He was 5th in the Jumping with an index of 105.42- not bad for a dressage horse! Fhitzgerald was a cross country and jumping star. He place 5th overall with a score of 113.16. He was 4th in the jumping with an index of 115.89 (placing behind 3 totally jumper bred stallions) and 5th in the dressage with a 108.75.
