ESDCTA Memorial Weekend Show May 25 and 26, 2019

Show Results

It was a very successful second recognized Show of the season!

We had a great Memorial Weekend Show at the NJ Horse Park May 25 & 26, 2019. Cara Klothe is the best! She handled 4 year old Special Premium Candidate Fhunny Girl (Furstenball/ Royal Prince) in the breed show where she was Mare Champion, Mature Champion both days, Grand Champion the first day (80.55 %) and Reserve Grand Champion the second day, 2nd place in Materiale the first day and 1st place the second day. This was her first show and only the second time taken off property and she was perfectly behaved. Cara also rode Verband Premium Shadow RSF (Shakespeare RSF/ Florencio) at her first horse show and second time off property. The first day the warm up was very busy with 10 horses and one misbehaving. Shadow didn’t do anything wrong, but she was a bit tight over the back and holding her breath (!). 62.586 training 3 and 63.103 training 2. The second day, she was much more a show horse with a 5th in training 3 (66.55%) and winning training 2 with a 70.17%! In that test, she went just like she does at home. What a good girl! A horse I recently sold- 4 year old Zhezanne (Zonik/Welcome S) looked amazing under Jaime Dancer for his owner Patty Gemmel Tait, getting 74.655%, winning training level test 3 in his first time in the show ring. Congratulations! We are tired but it was so nice to see everyone at the show.
