Anike
1992
Hanoverian Mare

Color: Bay   Date of Birth:   1992
Height:

16.1H

Anike sells with a breeding to Gold Luck for a full sibling to EM Ghamma Ray, EM Ghenoa, Ghidgette and Ghood n' Plenty. She can also be sold bred to the sRSF tallion of your choice or my choice (depending on the timing) for a slightly higher price. She requires regular feet trimming because she foundered after a retained placenta 5 years ago. Her soundness is fine for broodmare duties, and she has been a top producer for RSF.

Anike's sire is Archipel, a son of Argentan, who passed the stallion Performance test at Adelheidsdorf in 1988, finishing 5th of 38, achieving equally good results for rideability and for jumping ability.

Anike is just the right type for Gold Luck. She was purchased just before her inspection and had just had her very small shoes removed and so was still a bit ouchy at that time. Believe me when I tell you that this mare can trot! She was placed in the Main Stud book. Her 2002 filly named Ghamma Ray will be a wonderful addition to our broodmare band in 2006 and was the co-winner of the 2005 MPT Benchmark Jumping Trophy and finished fourth overall out of the 98 mares taking the AHS Mare Performance Test in 2005 with a score of 7.88.

SOLD! Congratulations to Ellen Kvinta Palmisano of Redding, CT!

Inspection and Show Results

At our GOV inspection on 7/15/07, Anike was place in the main studbook of the GOV. Her 2007 colt foal by Welcome S named Whellington was awarded a premium.

Anike has produced beautiful foals that absolutely love to jump from the day they are born!

Whellington has sold to Vicky Sher, who 17 years ago bought Campaign (by Cabaret out of Gladden Pell) from me. She was very successful with him up to the Grand Prix level in dressage, training him herself. He was Holsteiner HOY at least once that I remember. Now she has come back to RSF and purchased again. Whellington is perfect for her!
SOLD! Congratulations to Vicky Sher!

See the new conformation photo taken 9/06. Ghidgette is a fovorite of everyone at RSF. She leaves food to visit you out in the field. She is correct, pretty and a super mover. I will be surprised if she hasn't inherited some jumping talent.
SOLD! Congratulations to Michelle Coursin!

 Anike (Archipel/Askan/Wettstreit/Almhuegel III)
Well, Nov. 5th was a great day for Ghenna and Sandy. In the mare inspection sponsored by the MAHB club, she was named the high score Hanoverian mare with a very high score of 7.56. She received 8's for head, neck, typiness/femininity, impulsion/elasticity and overall development and 7's for saddle position, frame, foreleg, hindleg, correctness and walk. Then in the mare show, she first in the 3yo class, Champion Hanoverian, Reserve Mature mare (topped by Sandy Johnson's nice Dutch mare Opus 12 by Rubinstein/Rampal), then she caught her energy back and had another nice go in the championship class and was named overall Grand Champion.
SOLD! Congratulations to Sandy Werkheiser, Northampton PA!

 Anike (Archipel/Askan/Wettstreit/Almhuegel III)
In 2005, Ghamma Ray ranked fourth highest of those mares qualifying for the Walter Hartwig award. This award is given for North American bred and born young mares which achieve the highest combined scores on their studbook inspection and Mare Performance Test (MPT), both taken as a three- or four-year-old. RSF horses have made the list ever since its inception four years ago (we won the inaugural year with EM Dew Berry). Ghamma Ray also received the Benchmark award for 2005, tying for the highest free jumping score for the nation (9 and 9) for the 2005 mare performance tests.
SOLD! congratulations to Paul Hyland and his daughter, Rachel
