Foaling report: A daytime foaling! Penny paced all night so I still didn't get any sleep because of watching her on the camera in our bedroom all night. She finally decided to get going right at feeding time at 8 am, and was still a drama queen about the whole birth. She spent some time pushing while standing up and then finally gave birth while thrashing and kicking lying on her back. Fortunately, our employee, Quinnton, arrived in time to see his first foaling. It was his honor to name him and Gheronimo seems to fit perfectly.
