Shoshone is named premium at the GOV inspection as a foal, then becomes a Special Premium Candidate at her mare inspection and mare performance test. Now a Special Premium Mare after the birth of Qhromatic in 2014.
Now a Special Premium Mare after the birth of Qhromatic in 2014!
She was the third placed mare overall, and won the high score free jumping ribbon at her mare performance test and mare inspection in 2012. Now back under saddle.
She received an 8 for her free jumping, and an 8 for breed and sex type. She was originally going to be my replacement for her dam, Glimmer, but I have just too many broodmares. My loss is your gain!
Glimmer finally has a filly, and she may be a limited edition, since Glimmer is getting older and I was unable to get her in foal for 2010 due to large uterine cysts. I am thrilled with this filly- she has it all- movement and conformation.2009: She looks just like all of the other Shakespeare foals, and it is surprising that she has not one white hair, since Glimmer is so colorfully marked. She is very correct- tall and leggy with a pretty face and she is so friendly.
Foaling report: Glimmer has had gestations of over 365 days for her two colts, and this filly was born at 346 days. I guess she doesn't need to cook a filly as long as a colt.
SOLD!Congrats to Kathy of NY!
Shoshone is back under saddle after having a spectacular foal which fulfills the requirement for Special Premium status. She is a powerful mover without being heavy and she articulates her hind legs naturally. She is ready to continue working under saddle for an ambitious rider or she can be put back in foal with her valuable bloodlines.
