Dhoc came home with Sheriff after 2 1/2 months off the farm being broke by Kelly (who has my utmost admiration!).

Excellent compliments from our judges at our AHS inspection. He has flawless conformation, will be a tall, substantial colt for the big ring, and he is a sweetheart. His birth makes his dam, Cheerleader a new Elite Mare for the AHS- one of five for our farm (there are 7 new Elite Mares this year for our breeding program!!!)Born during a cold snap with Jim as midwife, and first identified as a filly! I was in West Palm Beach, FL scribing for the PB Dressage Derby, an annual last get-away before foaling season starts, when Jim called to inform me that Bunny was close to foaling. He was a great midwife and did all the right things, including giving the enema to what he thought was a filly. Our neighbor, Danielle came over to help him out when she noticed that the foal was urinating like a colt. Surprise! Dhoc is a real beauty and is very friendly. Bunny is a good mom, and she is now considered an Elite Mare with the birth of this nice colt. Dhoc is a super mover with a very free shoulder. I am thrilled with him!

SOLD! Congratulations to Kristen Aggers of CA!

New video- at home 6-29-12 on a 90+ degree day. As promised- new video of a lesson with Scott Hassler on 4-26-12. First time off the property, no lunging needed. Dhoc has grown quite a bit and is approaching 16.3 hands. He is a really good one, folks!

March 26, 2012 Probably 2 months total time under saddle: 03-19-12 Dhoc came home with Sheriff after 2 1/2 months off the farm being broke by Kelly (who has my utmost admiration!). It took me a week to get this first under saddle video up and I wouldn't recognize him now after even that short of time. He and Sheriff have improved rapidly in that week. More video is promised. You won't believe how good they look. Oops! On the video I said that Dhoc is an Oldenburg when in fact he is a Hanoverian.
