RIP Lhuau. Found dead in the pasture Dec 6 in foal to Uno Don Diego. No signs of struggle or pain. It looked like she just dropped over. Lhuau is now an Elite Mare for the AHS. She was also accepted into the Main Mare book of the GOV.

Lhuau was named the Champion 3 & 4 year old mare of the inspection with highest score of the day. She received a 7.33 with a 9 for the head, and 8's for typiness/femininity, corresctness of gaits, and impulsion in the trot. She received a 7.25 for her MPT score, the third highest score given. Scoring was very tough and the audience was quite surprised, since it was a high quality group of mares.

Lhuau participated in the AHS inspection and MPT on Nov 7, 2010 in VA, since I didn't breed any of the three year olds this year and she is eligible for the Hanoverian mare books in addition to the GOV's. She was named an Elite Mare Candidate at that time. Here she is at a lesson with Scott Hassler a few weeks before the inspection: Foal report: Finally, I get a filly to keep from this wonderful cross. Lhuau is beautiful, with a super shaped neck placed well on sloping shoulders. She is very active behind with freedom of movement in the shoulders.

Inspection Comments

The birth of Fhrisbee in 2012 fulfills the requirements for Lhuau to become an Elite Mare. Fhrisbee was named the top filly and overall top foal at her inspection at Hilltop Farm in 2012.

2007-See the new photos from the AHS inspection that I have finally posted. At our AHS inspection, she and pasture-mate Lhemon Pie were tied for best filly, and the judges said that they were tied for the best foals of the day.

 EM Lhuau Loerke/Bruderherz
Named top filly at her large Hanoverian foal inspection at Hilltop Farm. The head of the German Hanoverian Verband said "10 for gaits", "German Elite Foal Auction quality" and "I would buy her and bring her back to Germany with me." Michael Bragdell who handled EM Lhuau said watching her go gave him the chills, she was so good. Wow is all I can say. This filly is just what I ordered (except for the color- I was hoping for dark brown).
SOLD! Congratulations to Kristen Schwagerle!
