11/5/07 Hi Mo Well, second show was awesome. It was a bigger show and very hectic. Ghuinness was a real pro. You would think he had been doing this for a very long time. I have uploaded some more pics: http://www.flickr.com/photos/16305713@N06/. It was hard to get the sun behind me, so only a few turned out well. Julie makes it look so easy with this big guy. Her straight lines are straight ! It was a clean sweep - 4 Firsts !. Same classes as his first show. The judging was much tougher this time but he still managed to get an 8 on his walk ! "Nice big walk" and 7+'s on gaits. I think the next shows are Feb/Mar/April and I hope to 7+make two of them. One in Tucson and one in Phoenix. Will keep you posted. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. -alex and Ghuinn. 10/22/07 Hi Mo Well, we finally made it to Ghuinn's first show in Tucson. This time work didn't prevent me from going. Take Care Alex and Ghuinn Hi Mo, Ghuinness and I have moved. We are training with Julie Sodowsky. I know- a picture!!!! :-) Hope everything is going well. Alex and Ghuin Cave Creek, AZ Hi Mo Hope everything is going well. I expect you are very busy now that foaling has begun. Some friends were visiting last weekend and took some pictures. I have attached one of me and Ghuinn. Not the best, but hopefully you can see how he's doing. I was hoping to compete Training Level in March but will push it back to June/July. If I get anything better, I will email it to you. Ghuinn is now three miles from my house and it is so great. The farm owner jokes that if you look up a dictionary for the definition of "contentment" you will find Ghuinness! I think he has stopped growing ...... up! I can't deny it anymore, he is definitely 17hh. Take Care and Best Wishes Alex and Ghuinn
