Inspection Comments
Ghuatamala made Jacquie's day by being named the high score mare at the RSF Hanoverian inspection on July 30, 2006. She received the very high overall score of 7.61, with 9's for head and neck, and 8's for typiness and femininity, impulsion and elasticity, and overall impression and development. All of her other scores were 7's. Jacquie intends to start training her to harness with the goal of combined driving. She has already been started under saddle. I hoope she decides to do the Mare Performance test with her some day. This is a super mare!
Jacquie reported in her Christmas card that Mala is being ridden and will hopefully be ready to take the MPT in 2009 at RSF "to make his pappa, Gold Luck proud".
8/2006
Hi Mo, I'm still floating around on cloud 9! I still can't believe
Mala did it! I was very proud of her, especially that this was only
her third time off the farm, and standing around doing nothing is
quite a feat for her. I had a question in reference to the EMC stuff-I
read on the AHS web site that she has 3 years from the MPT to produce a
foal to gain her EM status. Does that time period also include the
inspection that we just did? Or after completion of the MPT only? I'm
confused! As you know, Mala was started under saddle and doing very
well. My friend Leigh has been riding her on the property, obviously
because we still do not have a ring in place. (She is quite bold,
believe it or not!) My plan is to send her to PJ Crowley in Oct/Nov to
be broke to drive, once Bella is finished. (Bella is doing really well
with the "driving thing". ) Although, the German speaking judge was not
thrilled with the idea of making Mala a driving horse, and said not to
mention it to the other judges or I would be assassinated! (he-he!)
If you can let me know about the EMC thing, I would appreciate it. It
could change my future plans with Mala. We'll see. Chat with you
later, Jacquie
