The Hungarian judge Barnabas Mandi praised the four-year old Hanoverian gelding for his quality basic gaits. "All three gaits are very nice and active," Mandi said. As of November 2005 Leopold changed ownership to Libby and Jules Anderson. Leo was purchased as a 3 year old from Suzanne Quarles at Some Day Soon Farm for a Jilba client Cindy Hutter. Leo was trained for 6 months at Jilba Dressage ridden by Libby and Cindy and then for 3 months at Teamwork Dressage ridden by Jules Anderson. Leo is now in training at Jules barn Teamwork Dressage in Alferetta, GA. This talented Hanovarian gelding now 5 years old shows great promise for dressage. At Devon in the FEI 4 year old Championships Leo won both classes for the 4 year olds and gained a 9 for his canter. His overall score came to 82+% We look forward to following Leo's progress as he continues in the show ring in 2006 at second level and in the FEI 5 year old classes.
