Show Results

Well, JoAnne is having a ball in FL and her first time out in the show ring was very successful. She won her second level test one at the Welcome Back to White Fences Show on 2/21/09 with a 70.0%. I got to visit with JoAnne when I was there to scribe for the Palm Beach Dressage Derby and I took this conformation photo.

01/2009 Dhoppler and JoAnne are headed to sunny Florida to train and compete for the winter. I know JoAnne is super excited about this opportunity to concentrate on the training of Dhoppler and I'm thinking the warm weather won't be too tough to take! See the new photo that JoAnne sent me of Dhoppler at the NEDA fall show. 7/30/2008 Hi Mo As I told you during our phone conversation Dhoppler is having an excellent first show season. He is a lot of fun to show as he is always ready to work and very forward thinking. He is also extremely sensible for a young horse in the stabling and warm-up areas. No fussing or silliness. He has been such a good boy! This is the most fun I've had showing in a long time and it doesn't hurt that the judges love him. Here is the synopsis of his show season so far: Mystic Valley Show 66.40% training level test 4 and 72% 1st level test 1. That was the second highest score at a 2 day show and his second time down the center line. Westbrook show 64.800% training level test 4 and 66.333% first level test 1 King oak Dressage days 61% first level test 1 It was very hot and I wilted before my horse so he was a bit strong and on the muscle in this class. Had I ridden better we would have gotten a much better score. 63.600% training level test 4 I had recovered a bit. The next day I rode better and he was softer for me so we got 69.600 in training level test 3. All in all a pretty good first year showing. I'm very proud of my horse. Thanks for making him for me!!! I'll send a photo to you soon. Our next show is the NEDA fall show in September. Hope you can come up to see him in person. Scott and I would love to see you! Glad you had 2 very successful inspections. You have a super batch of foals this year. take care Joanne
