Bruce has the typical Weltmeyer arched neck and head carriage with excellent movement. A stallion prospect, he was prepared for and presented at the 2003 AHS Stallion Licensing at Hilltop Farm. Although ultimately he was not accepted, we were very pleased with his performance as he showed extremely well in both the jumping test and also under saddle which is optional for three-year-olds. He was calm, obedient and willing to please despite the distractions of the day and the other stallions around him. Recently gelded, he will make a wonderful riding horse - either in dressage or as a hunter where his long sweepy movement, good looks and technique over fences are sure to stand out at the A shows. In training and progressing very well under saddle.

SOLD! Congratulations to Sally Schwotzer and her daughter Erin Carpenter of McMurray, PA!

Owner Comments

Just wanted to let you know Whillis was the very green champion at the Chagrin Farms November horse show. He won every single class in his division. He is becoming a little bit of a celebrity around here. We'll update you on Whillis in the spring when we start back to showing.
-Erin

As adult amateur hunter riders, they have been so impressed with Bruce's wonderful attitude. Erin rode him over the first under saddle fences he had ever done, and they couldn't believe he was just a three year old at the vetting. He behaved like a pro in the clinic- nothing fazed him. Erin is looking forward to riding him and spoiling him!
