Blaze, L&RF socks, L&RH stockings. She is as fancy as her fellow full siblings such as Ghotcha and Ghlissando, all of which were named top foals at their respective inspections. Alure is the daughter of Eden. Her sire, Armin (also sire of Alectra) was Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon and twice AHSA and USDF Horse of the Year. He was trained and competed successfully to Grand Prix dressage and then took a Young Rider to the team championships.

Alure was the top mare at her inspection and qualified for Elite mare but did not do the Mare Performance Test. She has produced three top foals at inspections by Gold Luck and one by Rotspon. Her son Ghotcha is winning at second level at age 6 and won the Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse class at the large 2000 New England Dressage Association fall show.

Ghemstone has large shoes to fill, but she is just like her full siblings-a great mover with correct conformation and a wonderful, friendly personality. Dr. Brockmann quite liked her correct conformation and her movement with her active hindquarter and uphill neck carriage.

SOLD! Congratulations to Steve Ruggiero and Tracy Kettunen!

Owner Comments

Hey Mo!
I keep forgetting to send you some good pictures of my Champion girls! Ghemmy won her filly class with an 81.1% from Sue Mandas and then went on to win Grand Champion of the entire Broadfield's Dressage Breed Show! Look at the ribbons and sashes on Ghem- she cleaned house!

Clark is doing great by the way- I will see you on Friday for the colt. Thanks again for everything, Mo! We love Ghemmy!

Spring 2004

Hey Mo!

I just wanted to say thank you for the beautiful write-up on your website!! That was really sweet. Ghemmy is doing great and she is the big star at our barn- everyone comments on her presence and how beautiful she is. We spent all day with her on Saturday, all day on Sunday and half day today. I must say that she is our baby and she if very very affectionate. Buying her was the best thing that I ever did. We already have hours of her on film- rolling and trotting. Tracy already has her leading and stopping and doing all that stuff so soon.

Thank you for being so helpful on Saturday - both you and Jim highly exceeded my expectations. Well, as you can see I am absolutely thrilled about her and I can't wait to see her bright and early tomorrow!!!! By the way, Tracy brings her schoolwork and laptop to the barn so she can watch her in the ring while she does work.

Thank you once again and we are so happy that we have Ghemstone.

Steve Ruggiero

P.S. Say hi to Jim for us. And I will send you some very cute shots of her.
