Whalter is under saddle and he is quite spectacular. Big, BIG gaits!

Whalter has so much movement, he doesn't quite know what to do with it all. He Has really come into his own in the last few months. He has spectacular movement that will find it's way to the FEI dressage ring with the right rider. Also a possibility for the eventing world???? Whalter's sire, Welser is a 1995 Chestnut Hanoverian Stallion by Wolkenstein II out of Letinia by Lanthan. Welser was the 1997 Reserve Champion at the Hanoverian stallion licensing in Verden. The following year, he absolved the stallion performance test and achieved the maximum score of 10 for his outstanding canter. His offspring are known for their fine heads, good conformation, long and well-set neck, and lean, correct limbs. Reserve Champion at 1997 stallion licensing in Verden Overall score: 134 / 2nd of 38 Dressage score: 139 / 2nd Jumping score: 106 / 15th Whalter's dam is our own homebred, EM Gharbo (information under "broodmares")

SOLD! Congratulations to Patti Thompson of PA!

SOLD! New Video 5-5-12 OK, Here's the scoop on Whalter. Had a buyer. Did the pre-purchase vet exam. Flexions, everything fine. A small chip (not in the joint) was found on the left hock. He has never taken an unsound step in his life and just passed flexion tests but the buyer was gone. I did the surgery on him, since now I knew about the chip. (Why can't I have x ray vision???) Here he is, chip gone, STILL SOUND, AS ALWAYS, on the second ride doing walk trot and canter after the necessary lay-up. Now I know he has CLEAN X RAYS!!!!! What a MOVER!!!!!!

Dec. 2011 Whalter's training was put on hold a bit while we spent the spring and summer preparing Sir James for the Hanoverian stallion licensing and 70 day test, and preparing 10 (!!!!) mares for the Oldenburg Mare Performance Test. Here he is in a video taken Dec. 11, 2011: We took Whellington and Whalter to a schooling dressage show at the NJ Horse Park on Saturday, 2/26/2011. It was Whalter's second time off the farm, and his first ever time in a dressage ring. Both boys did great. They loaded and trailered like pros, stood in the trailer while the other one was ridden and went into the ring like experienced show horses. Whellington and Whalter competed against each other in training level tests 2 & 3. Whalter placed second in both classes with the amazing scores of 69.285% and 65.6%. He received 8's on gaits and harmony in both tests, along with quite a few 8's scattered throughtout the tests. Whalter could have been a bit more consistent in the contact, but we were really thrilled with his first ever horse show experience. Here is Whalter's first time off the farm in a lesson with Scott Hassler 12/09/10 He just keeps getting better and better! 11/24/10 FOR SALE Whalter is under saddle and he is a really beautiful mover. See the new photos and video- WOW!
