Rhwanda's sire, Rotspon, the tall and elegant son of Rubinstein, won his stallion performance test in 1998 with an excellent overall score of 145,67 (148,82 in the dressage category). Like his father, the famous Rubinstein I, Rotspon is a very impressive horse with great rideability, outstanding temperament, movements and a high aptitude for dressage. He also shows good jumping technique which is highly above average. His overall score at his stallion test in 1998 was 145,67/ 1st out of 38; dressage score 148,82/1; jumping score 118,74/7. 

Rhwanda’s dam’s sire is Gibraleon, a privately owned stallion known for his jumping ability. Rhwanda was third in her group at the 2001 Hanoverian Foal Championships in Verden, Germany with a score of 8.8. This score would have qualified her for the final Ring in any other group, but she had the misfortune to be in the same group as the overall champion and reserve champion of the finals. She was bought at the 2001 Hanoverian Elite Mare and Foal Auction in Germany.
