Named Top Filly at the 1999 AHS Maryland Inspection

Unfortunately, 2003 started off on a sad note for us, as we lost the lovely four-year-old Gold Luck daughter, Ghin and Tonic, to cancer just after New Year's.

Ghinny was bred to Davignport and due to foal in early April. She began to rapidly deteriorate physically, and cancer was suspected by the vet clinic after her blood values came back. She left us quickly, and a necropsy confirmed that it was indeed wide spread lymphoma. Ghin and Tonic received her 7.0 for the inspection, but just missed her 7.0 on the MPT receiving 7's for everything except the canter where she received a 6. She was a 16.3 hand, tall geeky thing then and a little downhill at the time. She was a wonderful mare, and we were very much looking forward to her first foal.
