Well, I was actually surprised that Shady Lady didn't get a premium at the GOV inspection. I think maybe they were sick of giving them out to me by the time Shady came in the ring as one of the last foals presented. In my opinion, she is of premium quality- in type, conformation and movement. She was only 5 weeks old at the time, maybe that had something to do with the judges' decision....

This is a shorter filly than I expected from EM Dhominica, who usually has tall foals. Shiloh is a real beauty, with a round hindquarter that suggest a future sit down in self carriage. What a sweety, too!

Well, I didn't meet Digger or see him move until the Hanoverian inspection at Hedgeland on October 11. He didn't show much to the judges in the ring there. Poor baby was weaned, put on the horse trailer and brought home to PA. The video shows the first time out in the round pen and wow, were Jim and I pleasantly surprised! He has the Shakespeare movement too! See the new conformation photos taken in Nov. The ones from the inspection were too dark.

Wow is all I can say about this one. the photographer commented that every shot she took was an easy one because he has so much air time. Look at his shoulder freedom! He has the "IT" factor- stallion prospect????

This filly was found in the stall in the morning. Rhwanda gave no signs that she was close to delivering- none! The filly was born with a knee deformity and probably had a shoulder problem, too. She was unable to stand and did not have the will to live. Jim and I bottle fed her for two days until it was really obvious that this filly would not have a chance at life. We sadly decided to put her down. RIP, sweet baby... 

Since this colt almost didn't live through his birth, the premium designation is a bonus. Boy, can he move! He is one of the darkest Shakespears foals with an almost black coat. I love him!

Glimmer finally has a filly, and she may be a limited edition, since Glimmer is getting older and I was unable to get her in foal for 2010 due to large uterine cysts. i am thrilled with this filly- she has it all- movement and conformation.

She should grow up to be a very good dressage horse. We have given Piper away to Carly Graziano, so this is the last foal from Piper for us here at RSF. Carly has a smaller farm so she is better able to provide Piper with the care she needs now that she is nearly blind.
