The free jumping went really well. John Amber and Cara Klothe did a super job in preparing the mares for the under saddle portion. John did all of the riding for the test, while Cara, Dawn, Alaina Schmidt and Taylor got the next mare ready to go. Quinnten Alston did his usual outstanding job in handling the mares for the triangle and into the jump chute. Wanja Gerlach was the test rider. Judges were Katrin Burger, Felix Einhaus and Holly Simensen.
Top mare overall, high score under saddle and high score for free jumping and Special Premium went to Ghodiva (Gold Luck/EM Dhominica- De Niro/Rohdiamant).

She had only been cantering under saddle for about three weeks. She had also only been schooled through the jump chute three times. We just brought her back from the breaker last month.
She got an overall 7.99 with a 9 for trot under saddle, 8.5 for free trot and canter, 8's for free jump, canter under saddle and test rider, 7 for the walk.
Second place and Special Premium Candidate went to Rhaisonette (Rosentanz/ Fhlora- Fuerst Heinrich/Velton Third) with a 7.75. She received 8's for free trot, trot and canter under saddle, and rideability from the test rider. Her full sister received the Special Premium last year. Interesting is that Fhlora's half-brother by Belissimo M named Callaho's Benicio, was just in the world dressage news for creating quite a sensation in the FEI 6 year old class at the German Bundeschampionate, winning with a 9.4.
Third went to the Hanoverian mare, Hhot Tamale (Hotline/EM Chee Chee- Contucci/Banter). She received a 7.73 with a 9 for rideability from the test rider, and an 8.5 for the trot under saddle.
There was a tie for fourth place with a score of 7.61. They gave the fourth place ribbon to new Special Premium Candidate Lhorna Doone (Londonderry/Whest Indies- Wolkentanz II/Renaissance). She received 8.5 for trot under saddle and from the test rider and an 8 for canter under saddle.
Shnickers, a Hanoverian mare (Sinatra Song/EM Wyneth L- Widmark/Davignon) received the 5th place ribbon for the same score with 8's for free trot, free canter and an 8.5 for trot under saddle.
Sixth place went to Verband Premium Whrigley with a 7.37 total score. Her breeding is Welcome S/EM Alectra- Armin/Akzent II).
Seventh place went to Verband Premium Lhemon Drop (Locksley II/EM Rhwanda- Rotspon/Gibraleon). Her 7.18 total score included an 8 for free jumping.
Also tested were Fhifth Avenue (Farewell II/EM Fhrance- Fabriano/Wonderful)
Fhortune Cookie (Fidertanz/EM Whitney Q- Weltbekannt/Leibniz)
and
Bhon-Bon (Brentano II/EM Amulet- Archipel/Windhuk).
It was an ambitious day that was made possible by a great staff and a great husband!
