2008 was another successful year for Rolling Stone Farm.

Highlights include Fhitzgerald being licensed by the Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society (GOV)
and 11 foals being awarded premium out of 16 presented at our GOV inspection- Bhon Bon, Shugar Baby, Lhemon Drop, Shkittles, Rhaisonette, Ghodiva, Fhifth Avenue, Chocolate RSF, Whrigley, Fhortune Cookie, and Lhorna Doone.
We have five new Elite Mare Candidates (all green broke three year olds at the time of their Mare Performance Tests) out of 5 that were presented to the American Hanoverian Society (AHS)- Cheerleader, Fhashion Model, Lhibrarian, Rheporter and Rheceptionist. One of them, EMC Lhibrarian received second place for the 2008 Walter Hartwig Award. We have three new Elite mares in our breeding program, following the birth of their foals- Wyneth L, Chee Chee, and Chalk One Up. This brings the total number of State Premium, Elite Mares and Elite Mare Candidates that are presently in production in our breeding program to 24. In 2008, Ghamma Ray, a mare by Gold Luck that we bred, mare performance tested and sold became an Elite Mare with the birth of her foal. In prior years, we bred and tested 2 more EMC's (EMC Whindlass and EMC Ghrenadine) which we sold to happy new owners. In prior years from our farm came EMC Ghenoa, EM Ghlycerine, EM Dalliance, EM Ghloria and SPS Dementia who were all mare performance tested by their owners.
In 2008, two Rolling Stone Farm fillies were tied for top filly at our AHS inspection- Hhot Tamale and Lhollipop.
The Show Grand Championship was awarded to EMC Rheporter at the MAHB Mare Show.

Showgirl won her Three Year Old Fillies class at Dressage at devon and then went on to win the Grand Championship Born in the USA Award at Dressage at Devon with a score of 87.2%.
Lhifeguard received third place in the Three year Old Colts and Geldings class at Dressage at Devon.
A Gold Luck daughter (EMC Gaudenzia) ended up first in the USDF Horse of the Year Award at training level,
and homebred Whirlpool ending up second in the USDF Horse of the Year at First Level.
Hunter successes include Dhenmark (show name: Why Not Me), AHS AA Hunter Champion (riders 35+),
Ghabon- AHS Reserve Champion in Green Working Hunter and also Reserve Champion in Large Junior Hunter (rider 16-17 yrs.), and Lhitigator (show name: Litho) named AHS reserve Champion in Three Year Old Hunter Breeding.

We bred Shakespeare RSF to all different types of quality RSF mares to see what he will produce in 2009, and we look forward to seeing his first foal crop. This is a really special stallion!
