Upcoming Fillies

Maintaining the high standards of our mare band is crucial to the success of our program and future generations. Each year we choose a few of our best young fillies to keep in our breeding program and select a few individuals from outside sources to raise with them. Results such as the 2005 filly Rheporter (Royal Prince-EM Whispre/Weltmeyer) speak for themselves. At her foal inspection, Rheporter was judged to be "a champion foal on any continent and described as being as good as any foal seen anywhere this year" by Dr. Schade, incoming breeding director for the German Hanoverian Verband.

Below is a list of the fillies we are currently keeping in hopes that they mature into outstanding producers for the next generation.

Foal Report: WE ARE DONE! The last foal is an early arriving filly, which is fine with me. She certainly doesn't look like an early foal. She is tall and beautiful, with a very uphill trot and canter. We love the lightening bolt marking on the front of the hock!

Her sire created quite a sensation at his 2005 Hanoverian licensing and he was sold to Paul Schokemoehle.Hotline is a splendid approval and stallion test champion stallion. A beautifully-formed animal, Hotline has three extraordinary gaits and an even temperament which make him particularly valuable. With seldom experienced rideability, he impressed the experts at his first public appearances. Undisputed champion at his 70 day test which he finished with 149,28 points in the dressage and 137.34 points overall. The foreign riders confirmed his excellent rideability with the perfect score of 10.0. Hhot Tamale is a super mover with a really endearing attitude. She is quite the character!

What a beauty! This is a super filly with a leaner body type than her easy-keeping mom. Wanda was born broke, and hopefully this filly is too. She is a super mover and is sweet as can be. Pardon the muddy body in the inspection photos. It had POURED rain in the morning, and with 16 foals to present, there wae no time to bathe her.

1/2008 Update- you can hardly see where the swelling is and she has never taken an unsound step. X rays are fine with some calcification that is not near a joint. Shnickers had an injury to her left hock, probably due to a hyper flexion while out in the pasture. She should recover with just a slight swelling over the top of the hock that will look like a capped hock. Her soundness has been fine, and she is really a super mover. The price is reduced to reflect this blemish. It may be a good opportunity to get a filly from a top mare and sire.
